Eight comprehensive services designed to meet women where they are — from the day they arrive to the day they step confidently into independent life.
Every service is delivered with compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the women in our care.
We provide secure residential placements that offer immediate safety and stability. Our accommodation is carefully maintained and managed to ensure every resident feels protected, comfortable, and respected. Safeguarding is embedded into every aspect of how we operate our spaces.
Our team provides compassionate, non-judgemental emotional support to residents throughout their stay. Whether through one-to-one conversations, listening sessions, or check-ins, we ensure no woman feels alone in what she is carrying. We create a space where she can be honest about her feelings without fear.
Everything we do is shaped by a deep understanding of trauma — its effects on the body, the mind, and day-to-day functioning. Our staff are trained to recognise trauma responses and respond with patience and expertise. We never re-traumatise; we restore.
Practical challenges can feel overwhelming in the aftermath of crisis. We help residents navigate benefits applications, manage household routines, handle finances, and develop the life skills needed to rebuild day-to-day stability. Support is offered in the way that works best for each individual.
We advocate on behalf of residents and connect them with the right external services — from legal aid and healthcare to specialist domestic abuse services, mental health support, and housing agencies. We work collaboratively with a wide network of partners to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
For women for whom faith is an important part of their identity and wellbeing, we offer faith-sensitive support that honours their beliefs and practices. We work respectfully across all faiths and ensure that spiritual care is available as part of a holistic approach — never imposed, always available.
Isolation is one of the most damaging effects of crisis and abuse. We actively work to build a sense of community and belonging among residents — through shared activities, peer connections, and group support where appropriate. Connection is healing.
Our ultimate goal is for every woman to move on from our service with the confidence, skills, and connections to live independently. We develop personalised move-on plans, support transitions to permanent housing, and connect residents with ongoing community resources so that progress continues long after they leave our care.
We do not manage women — we walk alongside them. Our role is to support, not to control. To empower, not to create dependency. Every service we provide is guided by this principle.
Addressing one aspect of a woman's situation is rarely enough. Crisis is complex and interconnected — housing instability connects to financial stress, which connects to mental health, which connects to isolation.
Our wraparound approach means we address all of these threads together, working with each resident to untangle and rebuild from multiple directions simultaneously.
